About Edgware Parish

St Margaret’s, St Andrew’s and St Peter’s: Together we are the Anglican Church for the many and diverse communities which make up modern Edgware.

We cover the area from Brockley Hill through the regeneration estates along Stonegrove in the north and west to the Broadfields estate in the east and the shops and restaurants of central Edgware in the south.

Our three churches meet in different buildings, but we share the same roots in Jesus, the same commitment to growing closer to Him and each other through our worship and weekday activities, and the same desire to engage with the needs of the local area and beyond.

Our vision is to be a Heart for Edgware and, as the Anglican Church, we seek to follow the Bible and be guided by the Holy Spirit so that people are brought into the Christian faith, become active church members and are built up into fruitful mature Christians:

Meet Our Team Leaders

Francis Adu-Boachie

PARISH RECTOR

The Revd Preb Francis Adu-Boachie is the Rector of Edgware Parish and minister responsible for St Andrew’s.

Francis, our new Rector was installed in December 2019 following a move with his family from Wembley. He is committed to empowering individuals in the mission of Christ and his Church. Francis has passion for teaching Scripture with clarity and relevance. He has a great desire to make the Good news known in Broadfields and Edgware. He is responsible for resourcing and coordinating the Parish for mission.

Simon Rea

TEAM VICAR

Simon is the Team Vicar for St. Peter’s Church.

Simon is a man of straight talk. Always speaking up for the minority, finding some unusual solution to any difficult cases. Thinking different, leading by showing, standing firm in the regeneration of Stonegrove – this is Simon. Power of prayer, practicum and academic knowledge are his super skills and he is not afraid of using them. He has two children, and has a wife called Margit.

Kostakis Christodoulou

ASSOCIATE VICAR

Kostakis is the Associate Vicar for Edgware Parish.

Kostakis is a blessing for all three churches for years now. He was with us during his training and we celebrated with him at his Ordination in 2012. He has a great deal of leadership experience from his civil life and has now dedicated himself fully to the Lord. One of the greatest encouragers and the most entertaining preachers we know. He was licensed in March 2022 as the Associate Vicar for Edgware Parish.
