Hall Hire

We aim to bless the local communities through our prayer, our worship, our people – and also our buildings. We welcome enquiries from those wishing to hire one of our buildings on a long-term block booking basis but we do not hire buildings for parties nor, generally, one-off events.

Parish Hall

Set back from Station Road in Rectory Lane, this is our largest hall which can accommodate 150 people. There is a separate kitchen and a smaller hall for around 40 people. This is only available on Saturdays and Sunday afternoon.

St Margaret’s, 1 Station Road, Edgware HA8 7JE

St Margaret’s is located in the centre of Edgware making it easy to reach from the Underground (Northern Line) and bus routes.

The church has a very flexible space and pre-COVID capacity of around 130, with social distancing approx. 40-50 depending on the configuration of households attending.  The church building is used regularly by community groups, the Royal Associated Board of Music for their exams, and is hired by a local church on Sunday afternoons. The Broadwalk Shopping Centre car park, 2 minutes walk away, offers free parking for 90 minutes, and costs £1 for a further hour, parking on the High Street and the surrounding area is free on a Sunday. The church has recently been redecorated and new flexible lighting installed including a colour wheel in the chancel.

The virtual tour video was commissioned and funded through a Heritage Lottery COVID Cultural Recovery Grant.

Truth Hall

Next to St Margaret’s Church we also have a small Victorian hall (formerly the village school) which is hired out to community groups including Creative Arts groups and Alcoholics Anonymous. ‘Truth Hall’ has recently been refurbished with the installation of a new small kitchen and storage cupboards. It has a beautiful parquet floor that makes it ideal for small exercise classes. In Theatre styles it can accommodate up to 40 people (pre-COVID).

St Andrew’s

Situated on the Broadfields estate, the main church hall at St Andrew’s holds 100 people.  There is also a small lounge, separate kitchen, and an upper room which can be used for small meetings. No parking restrictions at any time. The Hall is currently used by tuition groups and a chess group. Free parking is available on Lynford Gardens and the surrounding roads.

St Peter’s (at ‘OneStonegrove’)

St Peter’s church is based in  ‘OneStonegrove’ which is a joint Church and Community Hub, offering a wide range of facilities for hirers. The building is managed by ‘The Hive Trust’ and all initial enquiries relating to hire should be addressed The Manager, who will oversee the building after handover from early June.
