When you go through major life events its natural to turn to the church. We are here when you need us most for Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals.
Baptisms
If you are interested in a baptism (also known as ‘christening’) for your child, please come along to a Sunday morning, make yourself known and ask for a baptism leaflet. This will give you details of what’s involved and also contact details for the clergy. They are always happy to arrange a visit to explain further what baptism is all about and discuss practical arrangements.
If you are an adult and seeking Baptism, we offer a confirmation course each year for those over 12. Anyone not baptised would be both baptised and confirmed (by the Bishop) in the same service. Again, the clergy are always will to talk through the details with any candidates. Those younger are welcome to communion after taking a short preparatory course. Weddings
If you would like to be married at any of our churches please telephone the Parish Office for details on (020) 8952 4066. A preliminary meeting will be arranged to clarify if we are able to conduct your wedding. After that, we would start to make the necessary arrangements, including arranging a marriage preparation course and meeting with the Vicar.
